香港紅酒銷量亞洲第一

蘋果日報】香港成為亞洲最愛杯中物的地區, 2005年至 2009年間本港葡萄酒消耗量上升一倍,一年達 3,500萬支,平均每人飲 4.5公升,超越日本及新加坡是亞洲最多,當中 85%紅酒,多來自法國。有業界說,中國產酒量已排全球第七,隨時踢走產酒大國澳洲,直逼第六位。

Vinexpo行政總裁 Robert Beynat昨在本港稱,今年葡萄酒展覽將於 6月 19日至 23日在法國波爾多舉行,料不少本地酒業界參與,因本港已成為亞洲樞紐, 2009年 27%進口本港葡萄酒都會轉口, 70%轉至內地。調查顯示,本港葡萄酒消耗量很高, 2005年有 141萬箱,至 2009年已上升一倍至 291.2萬箱;以每箱 12支計即有約 3,500萬支,平均每人消耗 4.5公升,較日本 2.4公升及新加坡 2.1公升為多,是亞洲最高。調查預測 2010年至 2014年,葡萄酒消耗量會再升 57%,人均消耗量升至 6.5公升。港人最愛的葡萄酒是紅酒,佔整體消耗量達 85%,而消耗量佔 63%為中價酒,售 5至 10美元(約 39至 78港元),最大來源地是法國、澳洲及美國。中國不入本地來源地十大,但 Beynat說中國產酒量全球排第 7, 2005至 2009年平均年產 7227萬箱,料 2010至 2014年可達 1.28億箱,追過澳洲爬上第 6位;頭三位仍分別是法國、意大利及西班牙。

Average consumption of 4.5 liters per person According to Vinexpo CEO Robert Beynat yesterday, in this year, the wine exhibition will be from June 19 to 23, held in Bordeaux, France. Local traders will play an important role as Hong Kong has become Asia's wine hub, 27% of  imported wine in 2009 was re-exported, 70% went to the Mainland. According to a survey, our wine consumption is increasing rapidly, from 1.41 million cases in 2005 to 2.91 million cases on 2009. That is about 35 million bottles in total which means average consumption of 4.5 liters. Compared to 2.4 liter in Japan and 2.1 liter in Singapore, Hong Kong is have highest comsumption in Asia. It is estimated from 2010 to 2014, wine consumption will be up another 57%, average consumption may reach 6.5 liters. Red wine is Hong Kong people's favourite, consists of 85% of total consumption. 63% of wine consumed are mid-price wine at around 5-10 U.S. dollars, mainly source from France, Australia and the United States. Wines from China is out of top ten in local market, but according to Beynat it is ranked 7 in the world, 2005 to 2009 the average annual wine production in China is 72.27 million cases. Between 2010 to 2014 it is estimated to reach 128 million cases, chasing Australia who is on the 6th. The top three will be still France, Italy and Spain respectively.
